Adding Visual Visitor as a trusted site through Google Chrome

Having issues logging into Visual Visitor with Google Chrome? Try the following steps.

1. Open Internet Options:

  1. Open the Control Panel, navigate to Network and Internet > Internet Options.
  2. Alternatively, press Windows + R, type inetcpl.cpl, and hit Enter.

2. Go to the Security Tab:

  1. In the Internet Options window, click the Security tab.

3. Select Trusted Sites:

  1. Click on the Trusted sites icon (a green checkmark) and then click the Sites button.

4. Add Your Trusted Site:

  1. In the new window, enter the URL of the website you want to trust: app.visualvisitor.com & api.id-visitors.com in the Add this website to the zone field.
  2. Ensure the website uses https://, as some versions of Windows require it.
  3. Click Add.

5. Disable Zone Verification (Optional):

  1. Uncheck the box that says, Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone if you want to allow non-HTTPS websites (not recommended).

6. Save and Apply:

  1. Click Close, then Apply, and finally OK to save the changes
