Do I need to notify the caller that the calls are being recorded?
It is always recommended to check your current state and federal laws before using call recording, as there are many different laws that apply to call recording. Some states require both parties to consent to record a phone conversation. While other states require only one party to consent to the recording of a phone conversation.
To assist in compliance of these laws, Visual Visitor's call tracking software, allows you to enable an automated verbal announcement to parties on a call.
For example; within the call recording options, we recommend a message that notifies both parties that "This call may be recorded for quality and training purposes"
