How Do I Install the Visual Visitor Tracking Script on Webflow?
Webflow
allows custom code injection in its project settings and on individual pages,
making it straightforward to install the Visual Visitor tracking script
site-wide.
Site-wide installation (recommended)
In Webflow Designer, go to Project Settings > Custom Code.
In the Head
Code section, paste your Visual Visitor tracking script.
Click Save
Changes.
Publish your Webflow site to push the
changes live.
Page-level installation

If
you only want to track specific pages (not recommended - the script should fire
on all pages for maximum identification):
Open the page in Webflow Designer.
Click the gear icon to open Page Settings.
In the Custom
Code > Inside <head> tag field, paste the script.
Publish the page.
Verify the installation: After publishing, visit your live Webflow site in a browser. Open Developer
Tools (F12 > Network), reload the page, and filter for your Visual Visitor script to
confirm it is loading.
Cookie consent: If you are using a Webflow-native or third-party cookie consent banner on your
Webflow site, ensure the Visual Visitor script is loaded only after consent.
You may need to load the script via a consent-triggered event rather than
directly in the head tag.

If
you need help finding your Visual Visitor tracking script, go to Configuration > Installation in your
Visual Visitor dashboard.
