Visual
Visitor can deliver identified visitor data to Marketo or Microsoft Dynamics
365 using webhooks with Zapier as an intermediary. This allows marketing teams
to enrich existing lead records or create new ones automatically when a website
visitor is identified and matches your ICP.
Recommended approach - Webhook and Zapier
1. In Visual Visitor, go to Configuration
> Webhook and configure your webhook endpoint to point to a Zapier Catch
Hook URL.
2. In Zapier, set the trigger to Webhooks by
Zapier > Catch Hook.
3. Add an action step for your destination:
· Marketo: Use the Marketo Zapier app to create or update a Lead record. Map
Visual Visitor fields (email, name, company, page URL) to Marketo lead fields.
· Microsoft
Dynamics 365: Use the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Zapier app to
create or update a Contact or Lead record.
4. Add a Filter step before the CRM action
to send only ICP-matched visitors (e.g., filter by ICP tier = Tier 1 or Tier
2).
Direct API approach: For
high-volume or enterprise setups, you can skip Zapier and POST directly from
the Visual Visitor webhook to the Marketo REST API or the Dynamics 365 Web API.
This requires a custom middleware or serverless function. Contact your internal
development team or Visual Visitor Support for assistance.
Data routing tip: If
you need to route data to both Marketo and Dynamics simultaneously, use a
Zapier Multi-Step Zap with two action steps, or use Zapier's Paths feature to
route based on ICP tier or other criteria.

Always
test your integration with a small set of identified visitors before enabling
it for full traffic.
