How to Suppress Specific Domains from AI Sales Rep Email Outreach

By default, the AI Sales Rep will send emails to all identified visitors who match your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). If you need to exclude visitors from certain companies or email domains — such as your own employees, competitor companies, or existing customers — you can do so using the Known Customers or Suppression features.

 


Method 1 - Known Customers list (recommended)

 

The Known Customers list is the primary tool for preventing the AI Sales Rep from contacting people you already have a relationship with:

 

  1. Go to Configuration > Known Customers in your Visual Visitor dashboard.
  2. Upload a CSV file containing the email addresses or company domains you want to suppress.
  3. Visual Visitor will automatically exclude anyone in this list from AI Sales Rep outreach.

 

Idea
Keep your Known Customers list updated regularly — add new customers, partners, and employees as they are onboarded. 

 





Method 2 - Company suppression

 

To suppress all visitors from a specific company regardless of email address:

 

  1. Go to Configuration > Suppress Company.
  2. Add the company name. All identified visitors associated with that company will be excluded from AI Sales Rep sends.

 





Notes
The AI Sales Rep cannot currently suppress by individual email address mid-sequence (i.e., if someone has already started receiving a cadence, the cadence will continue unless you manually stop it). For immediate suppression of an active contact, contact Visual Visitor Support.
