Installing Visual Visitor on Square Space
Installing your script onto SquareSpace:
Step 1: Go to your Account Dashboard on SquareSpace.
Step 2: Select "Settings".
Step 3: From settings go to "Developer Tools" under the Website tab.
Step 4: Select "Code Injection."
Step 5: Paste your Visual Visitor script into either the header or the footer of the code injection page.
Step 6: Select "Save" in the top left corner.
Your script should begin firing immediately.
Adding your script to the header or footer of a web page will track all pages of the website.
Verify the installation:
After saving, visit a page on your live Squarespace site in a browser, open Developer Tools (F12 > Network tab), and filter for "your script, or account ID to confirm the script is loading.
If you need help locating your script, navigate to Configuration > Installation inside your Visual Visitor dashboard.
