Installing Visual Visitor to Wix

Installing Visual Visitor on Wix:

Start in your Wix Dashboard and go to Settings.

1. Scroll down and select </> Custom Code

2. Click the + Add Custom Code button in the top right corner. 

3. Add your script in the Code Snippets box.

• Make sure the code is set to "Load Once" and save.
  

Once you've saved your script should beginning firing immediately.

Tips to know:

1. Before you begin, make sure that your site is published and has a connected domain.
   
2. Go to Settings in your site's dashboard.
   
3. Click the Custom Code tab in the Advanced section.
   
4. Click + Add Custom Code at the top right.
   
5. Paste the code snippet in the text box. 
   
6. Enter a name for your code.
   

Tip: Give it a name that is easy to recognize so you can quickly identify it later.

 

​Select an option under Add Code to Pages:

1. All pages: This adds the code to all of your site's pages, including any new pages that you create in the future. Choose whether to load the code only once per visit, or on each page your visitor opens.
   
2. Choose specific pages: Use the drop-down menu to select the relevant pages.
   
3. Choose where to place your code under Place Code in:.
   
4. Head
   
5. Body - start
   
6. Body - end
   
7. Click Apply.
