Create Your AI Sales Agent's Message Life Cycle

Create Your AI Sales Agent's Message Life Cycle

To ensure your AI Sales Agent manages interactions effectively over time, it's crucial to set up a comprehensive message life cycle. This guide will help you configure additional follow-up messages and handle various visitor scenarios. A well-structured message life cycle not only helps maintain consistent communication but also enhances visitor engagement and conversion rates.

Create Your AI Sales Agent's Message Life Cycle

  1. Step 1: Create the First Initial Message -> Message Life Cycle Instructions

Crafting an engaging and personalized initial message is crucial to starting a successful interaction with the visitor. Here’s how to do it effectively:

    Purpose of the Email

The initial email should have a clear and specific purpose. Identify what you aim to achieve with this message:

    • Introduce Your Brand: Provide a brief introduction to your company and its value proposition.
    • Offer Promotions: Highlight any current promotions, discounts, or special offers that might interest the visitor.
    • Gather Information: Ask questions or include a survey to better understand the visitor's needs and preferences.
    • Encourage Engagement: Motivate the visitor to respond, visit your website, or take another desired action.

    Offer Promotions

Promotions can be a strong motivator for engagement. When including promotions:

    • Make sure the offer is relevant and valuable to the recipient.
    • Clearly state the benefits and any terms and conditions.
    • Use urgency and scarcity to encourage quick action, such as limited-time offers or limited availability.

    Additional Notes for the Email

Consider the following elements to enhance your email:

    • Business and Product Information: Provide concise and relevant information about your business and products. Highlight key features and benefits that are most likely to resonate with the recipient.
    • Personalization: Use the recipient’s name and tailor the content based on their previous interactions or specific interests. Personalized messages are more likely to engage the reader and encourage a response.

List of DO NOT SAY Terms

Avoid using terms that can negatively impact the recipient’s perception or engagement. Examples of terms to avoid:

    • Spammy Language: Words like “Buy Now!”, “Free!”, or “Urgent!” can be seen as spammy and reduce trust.
    • Negative Phrasing: Avoid phrases that sound overly critical or pessimistic.
    • Complex Jargon: Keep the language simple and avoid industry jargon that the recipient might not understand.

    Reference Website Visitor Attributes

Use any available data about the visitor to tailor the message:

    • Demographic Data: Customize the message based on their location, age, gender, etc.

Assign a Message and Subject Vibe/Tone

The tone of your email should align with your brand and the recipient’s expectations. Consider the following:

    • Friendly and Warm: For a more casual and approachable tone.
    • Professional and Formal: For a business-oriented audience.
    • Exciting and Energetic: To convey enthusiasm, especially when promoting new products or offers.

Create a Call to Action (CTA)

A strong CTA is essential to guide the recipient towards the desired action. Here’s how to create an effective CTA:

    • Clear and Direct: Use action-oriented language such as “Shop Now,” “Learn More,” or “Get Started.”
    • Compelling: Highlight the benefit of taking the action, such as “Save 20% Today!” or “Unlock Exclusive Content.”

By focusing on these elements, you can craft a compelling and engaging initial message that captures attention and encourages further interaction with your AI Sales Agent.

  2. Add Additional Follow-Up Messages as Needed:

    • Copy the Initial Message Template: If the initial message was effective, you can copy its structure and adjust the content to fit subsequent follow-ups.

      • By coping the initial message template, you are able to use your original message as a blue print to build out your email life cycle sequence.
      • Once copied, you will need to:
        • Assign 'Instruction's Name'.
        • Set how many days from the previous message that you would like this Follow-up sent.
        • Option to reference the initial or previous message when generating the follow-up email.

        • Add as many follow-ups as your see fit. We recommend anywhere between 4 - 7 email follow-ups.

    • or Create New Emails: Alternatively, create new emails tailored to the visitor's journey and interactions. Each follow-up should provide value, address potential concerns, and guide the visitor towards a desired action.

Handling Return Visitors After the Last Email Life Cycle Has Ended

  1. Do Not Send New Messages: If a visitor returns after the last email in the life cycle has been sent, refrain from sending any new messages unless certain conditions are met.

  2. Start a New Life Cycle When They Visit Again: If the visitor returns and meets specific criteria, such as showing renewed interest, you can start a new message life cycle to re-engage them.

  3. Only Start a New Email Life Cycle if the Visitor Revisits After "X" Number of Days: Specify the number of days after which a returning visitor will be considered for a new message life cycle. This ensures that visitors are not overwhelmed with frequent emails and that only genuinely interested visitors receive further communication.

Handling Visitors Added to Known Customers

  1. Continue with Message Life Cycle, Do Nothing: If the visitor is already a known customer and part of an ongoing message life cycle, continue as planned without any changes. This ensures continuity and consistent communication.

  2. Remove Visitor from the Message Life Cycle, Stop Sending Emails to This Visitor: For visitors who have been converted to customers or have expressed no interest in further emails, remove them from the message life cycle. This prevents sending unnecessary emails and respects the visitor's preferences.

By implementing these strategies, you can optimize your AI Sales Agent's message life cycle, ensuring effective communication, increased engagement, and improved conversion rates. Keep monitoring and adjusting your approach based on performance metrics to continually refine and enhance your email sequences.
