The Difference Between Identified Companies and Previous Period

Analyzing your leads based on date range is a great way to organize your metrics. But what is the difference between Identified Companies and the Previous Period?

Understanding 'Identified Companies' and 'Previous Period' Options:

  1. Identified Companies: This option shows the number of companies identified within the selected date range. For instance, if you select November and the dashboard shows 450 identified companies, it means these companies were recognized as potential leads in November.

  1. Previous Period: This feature automatically adjusts to show data from the time period directly preceding the one currently selected. It mirrors the same duration as the current period. For example, if you have November selected, the previous period will automatically set to October. This allows for a comparative analysis between two consecutive periods.

Changing the date for your lead export:

  1. Accessing the Dashboard: Log in to your account which will navigate to the main dashboard.

  1. Changing the Date Range: At the top of your dashboard, you will find options to adjust the date range. This feature is designed to help you focus on the lead data relevant to a specific period. It is automatically set to the most current week.

Tips:

  1. Analyzing Data: With the date range set, you can analyze the lead data for your chosen period. Compare it with the previous period to understand trends, growth, or decline in lead generation.

  1. Exporting Data: Once you have the desired date range and data in view, the export option will be in your "Leads" menu. From there you can download in formats like CSV or Excel. More on how to export your leads, here.

  1. Utilizing Exported Data: After exporting, you can use this data for further analysis, reporting, or input into other business tools.
