Some users notice that when reviewing a prospect's visitor detail page, all AI Sales Rep messages in the email history appear to be duplicates of the first email in the sequence. This article explains what to check and how to interpret the email log correctly.
What the Email Log Shows
The email log within visitor details records each message
sent by the AI Sales Rep to that prospect. Under normal operation, you should
see a series of different emails corresponding to each step in the message life
cycle (e.g., email 1, follow-up 1, follow-up 2, etc.).
Why
Duplicates May Appear
1. All
emails in the sequence use the same subject line or opening line: If your AI Sales Rep message life cycle was
configured with very similar templates across steps, the log entries may look
identical even though different emails were sent. Review your message life
cycle settings to confirm each step has distinct content.
2. Display
rendering issue: In some cases,
the preview pane within visitor details may not correctly cycle through the
different email bodies. The underlying data may be correct even if the display
appears repetitive.
3. Only the first email has been sent so far: If the prospect was identified recently, the
sequence may not have progressed past the first email yet. Check the send dates
on each log entry to confirm they represent different dates.
How to
Verify
- From the visitor's detail page, expand each
email log entry individually.
- Compare the send dates — they should be spaced
by the intervals defined in your message life cycle.
- Compare the email body of each entry to see if
the content differs.
- If all
entries have the same send date or the same exact body text, contact support.
