Excluding Specific Countries: A Guide to Filtering
Are you seeing data from Countries or States not relevant to your company?
We can exclude that easily. We have two ways.
- Filter the notifications coming through so you only see it in your dashboard & Leads menu.
- Filter the Countries or States completely so it does not feed into your Leads menu, or dashboard at all.
In this article we will show you how to exclude these visitors completely so they don't feed into your leads at all.
Exclude visitors.
To exclude visitors you are not interested in receiving. From your Visual Visitor dashboard you will go to: Configuration - Filter.
Choose your filter: Companies, Countries, States, Contacts. For this example we will filter Countries.
Next:
Select Filter Countries.
Sometimes it's easier to uncheck all countries and select the ones you want. The same practice can be said for the Filter States feature in the Configuration Menu.
Select the Countries that your company wants to know about.
When you're done select: "Update your selected countries."
