How to Find Your Person-Level Ads Export Files

How to Find Your Person-Level Ads Export Files

Visual Visitor's Person-Level Advertising (PLA) feature can generate Daily/Weekly export files that you can use to upload audiences to ad platforms. If you are expecting a file but cannot find it, this article explains where exports are stored.

Where PLA Export Files Are Located

Exported files are stored within the Person-Level Ads section of your dashboard, under the Exports subsection. Person-Level Ads -> Exports

To access them:

1.     Log in to your Visual Visitor dashboard.
2.     Navigate to Person-Level Ads (from the main navigation menu).
3.     Click on the Exports menu.

Notes All generated export files will be listed here, with the most recent at the top. Each file is labeled with the campaign name and the date range it covers.

Export Frequency

Notes
Export frequency is set per campaign.

Common Options are:

  1. Weekly (most common)
  2. Daily

Info
If your campaign is set to weekly exports, the file for the previous week will typically be available early in the following week (e.g., a week ending Friday will have its export ready by Sunday or Monday).

If a File Is Missing

If you expected a file for a specific week or campaign but do not see it:

1.     Confirm the campaign was active during the period in question. Paused or inactive campaigns do not generate exports.
2.     Check the campaign export frequency setting — it may be set to a different interval than expected.
3.     Verify the campaign name — if you manage multiple campaigns, confirm you are looking at the correct one.
4.     Contact support@visualvisitor.com with the campaign name and expected date range.
