Step by Step Guide to Contact Tagging

Visual Visitor's Contact Database is packed with more than 600 million leads. Chances are, plenty of them will be a good fit for your business. To make sure you don't lose out on promising leads, make sure you hit the tag button. This simple step will make it easier for you when you want to revisit leads in the future.

To help you get started, we've compiled a list of steps below. If you're wondering how to access, filter, or sort tagged leads, this article is for you.

Step 1. Creating tags


When you visit the Saved Contacts page, you can add a new tag by selecting Manage Tags from the drop-down menu.

 

Next, click New.



Give the tag a name and check the Share box if want your coworkers to access it as well.

That's it!

Step 2. Tagging leads


To tag a lead, click on their name. 



You will then be prompted to add a tag.



Step 3. Accessing tagged leads


You can find tagged leads on the Saved Contacts page. 



Step 4. Filtering Saved Contacts by tags


To filter Saved Contacts by tag, click Saved Criteria and check the Tags box. Select your preferred tag from the drop-down menu.


      

Step 5. Filtering Saved Contacts by tag date

 

To filter Saved Contacts by tag date, click Saved Criteria and check the Date Saved box. Click on your preferred date(s) on the calendar.
