Person-level advertising is a targeted digital advertising strategy that focuses on delivering ads to specific individuals rather than broad audience groups or anonymous segments. This approach requires the use of first-party or third-party data to identify and reach real people, typically through identifiers such as email addresses or other contact information. The ads are tailored to match the person’s unique interests, job role, buying stage, or behavior, leading to greater engagement and conversion rates.
Traditional advertising relies on cookies, keywords, or device-based targeting. Person-Level Advertising offers hyper-personalized targeting, using rich data and identity resolution technologies to reach opted-in users across multiple devices and platforms, giving you unmatched accuracy and measurable conversions..
The dashboard provides a visual summary of your Total Addressable Market (TAM), showing who is actively researching your selected topics over the past 30 days. Metrics include candidate counts, audience distribution by demographics, job title, industry, and more.
B2B Dashboard: Focuses on professional attributes such as company size, industry, department, and seniority level.
B2C Dashboard: Focuses on consumer attributes such as household income, net worth, age, homeownership, and presence of children in the home.
A Candidate is a verified individual identified as being in the market for your selected topics based on recent search and behavioral activity. These individuals form your target audience for Person-Level Advertising campaigns.
The TAM represents all individuals in the U.S. who have actively searched for or engaged with topics related to your campaign within the last 30 days. These candidates can be nurtured through one-to-one advertising across Meta, Google, and other channels.
Person-Level Advertising data is refreshed continuously, with candidate lists updating approximately every 24 hours to include new individuals who match your targeting criteria.

Facebook Custom Audience
Google Ads Custom Audience

Once created, campaigns typically begin identifying candidates and populating the dashboard within 24 hours, depending on topic scope and audience size.
If your campaign isn’t populating after 72 hours, verify your topic selection and filters in Campaign Studio, then contact Visual Visitor Support for troubleshooting assistance.
Campaign exports are designed primarily for ad platforms; therefore, integration with CRM and automation tools is not available for Person-Level Advertising. However, when a candidate is driven to your website via your advertising efforts, you can integrate with other platforms through Webhook or Zapier connections.
