Salesforce Integration

Visual Visitor can now push lead information straight to Salesforce! To set up this feature, follow the steps below for each individual user on your account.
To get or reset your security token:
 
At the top of any Salesforce page, click the down arrow next to your name. From the menu under your name, select Setup or My Settings—whichever one appears.
 
From the left pane, select one of the following:
  •       If you clicked Setup, select My Personal Information | Reset My Security Token.
  •       If you clicked My Settings, select Personal | Reset My Security Token.
 
Click the Reset Security Token button. The new security token is sent via email to the email address on your Salesforce user record. Keep this email. Your security token is not displayed in your settings or profile.
 
Login to VisualVisitor
  •       Click "Configuration -> Users"
  •       Click the "Edit" icon for the user you are configuring
  •       Click "Next" on the "User Information" tab
  •       Check "Enable" CRM System type
  •       Select "Salesforce" from CRM System type
  •       Enter the authtoken into "Security Token"
13. Click "Next"
14. Click "Save"
You are now ready to go! Make sure you follow steps 1-14 for each user on your account.
Below is how to create a lead in Salesforce.
1. Go to "Dashboard > Search Leads"
2. Click on a Lead
3. This will open the "Prospect Information" screen. You will see a Salesforce icon just below the "Tag Visitor" link
4. Click the "CRM" icon and your Lead will be created in Salesforce.
